About Graham

Graham began painting in the 1980s after a serious illness, taking up watercolour as therapy. With no previous experience, he quickly developed a talent for wildlife painting and, within 18 months, was accepted as a member of the Society of Wildlife Artists. His paintings of owls and elephants became highly sought after, with originals selling rapidly.

After a break from painting, Graham returned to his passion in 2000 following redundancy, encouraged by his friend and mentor, the internationally respected watercolour artist Steve Hall. He soon became known for his landscapes and seascapes, with his work selling through exhibitions and online.

In 2006, Graham began teaching watercolour in schools, inspiring both children and adults. Since 2007, he has continued to share his skills through workshops, courses, demonstrations and charity events.

Now 85, Graham remains an active artist and teacher, always learning and painting from the heart. His passion is simple: to create, inspire and share the joy of watercolour.
